Clarissa Voorhees
Partner · Pensacola
Clarissa served as a Navy judge advocate before opening the firm's first office on Pensacola Bay. She still begins every case by asking what the client is most afraid of.
She takes courts-martial, board hearings and investigator interviews for sailors, Marines and Coast Guard members, and she is the partner most clients meet first. Her work is trial work and the long preparation before it: statements, records, witnesses and a plain explanation of each step.
She grew up on the Gulf Coast and still sails the bay on weekends.

Our story
How Clarissa works
She asks for the paperwork first and the story second. By the end of a first meeting you have a list of what is due, by when, and who will do each part.
Before a hearing she walks the room with you, so the day itself holds no surprises about where you sit or what you will be asked.
When a case is likely to be tried, she says so early and prepares from the first week.
